Sacrificing for the Common Good - Paying Taxes
As citizens of a democracy, we are asked to make sacrifices for the greater good of the country. One of those sacrifices is paying taxes. Taxes create a national budget for defense, Medicare, education, and many other federal programs. Learn more about other responsibilities we have as citizens of the United States in this lesson from our Early American History course.
